The Level 2 Apprenticeship Diploma in Paint Refinishing will equip participants with the knowledge, understanding and practical skills required for working within a motor vehicle paint shop. Skills include preparing new & repaired vehicle panels to be painted, ensuring all parts have been stripped from the vehicle, sanding down relevant areas, adjoining areas for blending, masking, etching and priming areas to be treated with foundation coatings. The apprenticeship includes functional skills Maths, English & ICT as well as skills and knowledge of Paint Refinishing. Nova centres may provide additional support for 16-18 year old learners on a day release basis according to needs. Further details are available on application.
