Portable Appliance Electrical Testing

Portable appliance testing (PAT) is the examination of electrical equipment to ensure they are safe to use. This award gives the learner an understanding of the management, theory and practical requirements of the IET code of practice. This PAT testing course is ideal for those who wish to take control of the entire portable appliance testing within their company or offer a standalone service to companies. It is open to all and can be a viable way of providing additional skills and earning some extra income.
