The BTEC National is a vocational course which covers general and specialised aspects of IT. On the Diploma, students will study 18 units over two years and achieve a qualification equivalent to 3 A Levels. On the Subsidiary, students will study 6 units in their first year. If suitable they may then progress onto the second year to study a further 6 units to achieve the National Diploma equivalent to 2 A levels.
