GCSE courses are offered to people who may have been out of education for a while and would like another opportunity to achieve a qualification in English Language at GCSE level. It might be the case that they may have taken this before but didn't achieve a Grade C and now need it for University, it may be needed to further career paths, or it may be needed to apply for an Access to Higher Education course or other A level study.
