This course will suit a person who is passionate about learning new techniques and improving your skills in food and beverage. This Apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to learn how to prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, wines and beers in a professional manner. You will learn how to look after a bar, boost your customer service skills and develop front of house skills. Topics covered include: hygiene and food safety in catering, food and beverage services legislation, designing and managing menus, customer service and handing payments. You will also continue to develop your English and maths skills. You may be exempt from functional skills if you have the appropriate grades in GCSE English and Maths.
