This programme provides knowledge and understanding at a more advanced level, delivering the skills required to operate within the retail floristry sector. The course provides experience in the day to day running of a florists shop, including the design and construction of arrangements for a variety of occasions. The course makes crucial cultural connections with the use of floristry in Jewish, Hindu, Muslim, Sikh and Greek Orthodox celebrations, ceremonies and festivals, providing additional opportunities for the learner to extend their creative vocabulary.
