NVQ Level 2 Children & Young Peoples Workforce

CYPW learners will undertake learning on child development from birth to nineteen years, this will involve a variety of assessment methods with observation being a main focus. The learner will show competence in observing children and document this according to the mandatory framework of the Early Years Foundation Stage. Learners will complement their understanding through gaining knowledge on communication, safeguarding, multi-agency working and knowledge of the policies and procedures required in an early years setting. Learners will have the opportunity to choose optional units to develop their own personal learning and interests providing a holistic approach to working as a qualified Early Years Practitioner.
