Heavy vehicle technicians will service and repair vehicles such as lorries, trucks and agricultural vehicles. Technicians will be trained in all areas of vehicle mechanics and electronics, from engine and exhaust systems to air conditioning and security features. The duties of a heavy vehicle technician may include, Servicing vehicles, Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components, Advising the customers or the service department about required repairs, Producing time estimates and Maintaining repair and service records.
