The aims of this course are; to provide you with the preparation for a range of career opportunities in the Airline industry; it offers specialist studies that are directly relevant to individual vocations and professions in the airline industry and will allow you to make an immediate contribution to employment; and equip you with the necessary knowledge, skills and motivation. Functional skills including Maths and English and work experience form part of this programme. This course aims to prepare you for a range of career opportunities within the Airline industry. To enhance employability some units are in association with Servisair training standards to gain accreditation and opportunities in to Airport employment. There will also be further optional qualifications offered at the end of the programme e.g. customer service, passenger service agents & resort representatives. You will experience work via visits to the Thomas Cook Cabin Crew Assessment Centre, where you will gain an insight into the training undertaken by airline cabin crew upon recruitment such as ditching drills and visit to Manchester Airport. We do ask for a contribution towards your educational trips and uniform of £150.00 which is payable at the beginning of term.
