History: Boudica's Revolt & Resistance to Roman Rule

Boudica's Revolt (AD 60/1) was the outcome of a period of Romanisation in Britain that went back to the AD30s. At first it was a question of trade. Later it was power and control. Finally it sought the overthrow of tribes that sought to retain their independence.
