History: A History of Jews in London

The course will explore the changing political and social conditions in England between 1066 and present day to present day experienced by Jews in those times - including migration, recognition, assimilation, persecution, expulsion and re-integration. It will also explore themes such as the causes of anti-semitism, the holocaust and the birth of Zionism.
