This three day course is designed to build on your existing welding experience and enhance your MIG welding practice. The course is highly practical and would suit those who have attended the introduction course or would suit more experienced home and part-time welders. Using your own MIG welder is encouraged or use one of our industry standard welders. Proactive footwear is required, but not supplied and all other PPE and welding masks are provided NOTE: Aprons are provided but damage to clothing can occur during welding due to arcs, please wear appropriate clothing or overalls. The course builds upon skills learnt in the introduction course and introduces new items such as positional welding, destructive and non-destructive testing, how to set up the MIG welder for different situations and includes the basic welds. The course also covers topics including safe working practices and variety of faults in MIG Welding.
