The course includes a large amount of practical work, which is supported by written work. In addition to the course's fulltime hours, you will also be expected to undertake approximately 10 hours of independent study every week. You may study a range of subject areas, including: Fine art 3Dimensional design Fashion and textiles Interior design Graphic design and illustration Printmaking Contextual studies this is written work, which includes essays, PowerPoint presentations and an indepth contextual journal. You will also have the opportunity to use computer software, including Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. The final term consists of a personal specialist project, which is externally marked. The year culminates in your final work being exhibited at the annual College Art, Design & Media Show in June.
