Employability Skills is designed to allow you to develop those skills which are highly regarded in the workplace. There are many businesses who complain about students who lack the skills to succeed in the workplace and this course is designed to address this. Students complete activities looking at the following areas; active citizenship, Work Related Activities, Career Planning, Global Awareness, Enrichment Activities, Extended Project. There are a wide range of activities available from carrying out a dedicated research project, or taking on a leadership role, to work experience and volunteering placements.
