Over 5 weeks, you will learn how to use design principles, such as harmony and proportion, to create your preferred look and style. The course will cover how the use of hard and soft landscape materials and how plant features, such as colour and texture, can bring your design to life. You will also learn about the importance of health and safety and the environmental factors to consider when designing a garden. There will also be a visit to a local garden of interest to see real applications of design principles and hopefully inspire your own creativity.
