On the course students will develop an in depth understanding of the media industry and experience different mediums. Students will study filmmaking, editing, pre-production, post-production, and sound design. You will work with and understand filmmaking techniques including lighting and green screen. You will work to professional standards shooting on location and in the studio environment creating a variety of productions including films, music video, documentary production and many more. You will develop analytical and research skills using historical and contemporary examples. The course prepares students for either higher education or to work in the media industry.
