This course is ideal if you wish to pursue a career in science, in particular as a lab technician, but do not yet have the entry qualifications for higher education or Apprenticeships. The course aims to prepare you for scientific careers, including: - laboratory technician - medicine, dentistry and pharmacy technician - pharmacy assistant. The course is also designed to enable you to progress to HNC and HND courses (including Apprenticeships). The course will also give you the opportunity to undertake an employer-led research project and achieve the Registered Science Technician award (RSciTech) with Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC).
