Exam board AQA. Linear. This is a practical, hand-on course exploring textile production and design with an emphasis on developing strong art and design skills. A coursework 'Portfolio' is required in which students use observational studies and experiments with different media as a starting point. A personal final piece is produced based on sketchbook experiments, which could be a fashion piece, a hanging, a printed length or a furnishing object.
