As well as gaining an appreciation of Information Technology in the workplace, this qualification is split into two, which means that you are awarded a National Certificate at the end of year 12, or a National Extended Certificate should you choose to continue the course in year 13. BTEC Nationals are equivalent to A levels and are highly valued by universities, further education colleges and employers alike.
