This is a non certificated 10 week course for learners who wish to learn how to use a computer. The course will be negotiated to meet learners' needs and will include some of the following: -Computer components, identify computer components and get to grips with using a mouse and keyboard effectively. -Work with the desktop area and create files and folders -Word Processing, learn how to input, edit and format text, use Save and Save As facilities and print created documents -Learn how to use toolbars to carry out tasks -Learn how to add, move and re-size a variety of images -Learn how to search the internet and use search engines effectively. Understand Internet jargon and the toolbars in Internet Explorer
