Do you support people with Autism? This qualification is ideal whether you are working in statutory, private or voluntary services as the broad range covers a diverse range of job roles and occupational areas providing support to individuals with autism. You must provide direct support, as observations of you in your workplace supporting individuals on the Autistic Spectrum will be needed for completion of the course. You will develop your understanding of the challenges faced by people with autism and learn how to address the individual's specific needs. As this course requires a good level of English, you will undertake an assessment during the first class to confirm your place. Please note, you will attend College on alternate weeks (term time only) for the first 8 weeks.
