This course is ideal if you want to increase your skills for a supervisory role or update your existing knowledge. You will need a full craft certificate or relevant experience in the industry. There are a number of options including Landscaping or Sports Turf. The Landscaping option includes surveying and assessing sites, garden design practices, plant knowledge, soft landscaping skills and managing oneself. The Sports Turf option involves all aspects of managing sports turf including soil, water and ancillary planted areas. You can progress on to the Horticulture BTEC Level 3 Diploma or on to a full-time or part-time degree.Admission is by a short, informal discussion - please phone 01274 327327.
