This practical gardening course is ideal whether you are new to gardening, wanting a career change or interested in building on your current knowledge. You will develop the basic skills you need to complete a range of gardening activities and make your own garden look stunning. You cover the following topics: planning your spring garden, compost & compost making, friends & foes in the garden, digging your soil, testing your soil, how to fertilise your garden, planting out techniques & plant maintenance, plant propagation including taking cuttings & division of herbaceous perennials and cropping and harvesting both flowers & vegetables.
