Your AS grade is split, 50% is examination 50% is NEA (non-exam assessment). The aim of both is to establish - Core technical principles in Fashion and Textiles - Core designing and making principles - Specialist knowledge of Fashion and Textiles You can learn about contemporary technologies, materials and processes, as well as established practices. The new qualifications place greater emphasis on understanding and applying iterative design processes. You will use your creativity and imagination to design and make prototypes that solve real and relevant problems, considering your own and others’ needs, wants and values.
