On this course you will learn how websites are made and what makes web products suitable for specific audience and purpose. You will also learn basic HTML and CSS skills and will be creating your own digital portfolio. You will be working with digital images, will explore vector and bitmapped images, and will be creating your own images in Illustrator and Photoshop. These are the standard software applications for industry. The course is divided into 2 units. You will explore a number of different topics and find ways of presenting ideas and information in a visual way. You will have a chance to create your own website. All the activities are very hands-on and you will always be supported by your lecturer as you experiment with different techniques and applications.
