The first year focuses on starting a small business and centres around Entrepreneurs and the development of a Business Plan (BUSS1). In the second term the emphasis switches to Management of the internal operations of medium-sized businesses (BUSS2). The second year concentrates on the functional strategies of larger multinational businesses (BUSS3) and finally how businesses manage change within the external environment (BUSS4). A genuine interest in business will help you to develop the analytical and evaluative skills needed for success in the modular exams. Students are expected to read and watch the business news to support their classroom learning.
