AS Level Philosophy

This course encourages students to develop and refine a range of transferable skills, such as the ability to ask penetrating questions, to analyse and evaluate the arguments of others and to present their own arguments clearly and logically; to consider the ways in which philosophers have engaged with the important philosophical issues and approaches to problems; to refine their writing skills, demonstrating the ability to be concise, precise and accurate. You will look at epistemology and the philosophy of religion.
