The A2 course builds upon the AS units you will have already completed, with further development of language skills in a further range of topics which include an in-depth study of Italian society/culture. You will be assessed in understanding and spoken response by discussing an issue of your choice with the examiner playing devil's advocate in follow-up questions based on two topics other than you chosen one. You will also be assessed in research, understanding and written response in the form of a short text to be translated into Italian followed by an essay.
