A Level Government and Politics

The A level allows you to extend your knowledge and understanding beyond the political system in the United Kingdom. Your studies will cover how political ideologies have evolved since the Enlightenment, recognising the values associated with Liberalism, Socialism, Conservatism and Fascism. You will also study the way in which certain beliefs and values affect human behaviour, government policies and programs in ethnicity and gender, environment, education and economy.
