Learn new skills, brush up older ones; and plan your progression to a Functional Skills qualification as appropriate at level 2. You can join the class in either September or January if there is availability. You must attend twice a week. This class is right for you if you have a Level 1 maths qualification or are screened as having a wide range of maths knowledge and skills at level 1. The learner's journey will be as follows: an induction and skills review period followed by learning assessed by one or two qualifications. You will need to be referred by your tutor at progression enrolment or have had an appointment to see an Education and Careers Adviser before enrolling on this course.
