The course includes units on Organic Chemistry, including hydrocarbons alcohols and haloalkanes, Physical Chemistry including enthalpy and Hess's Law, Analysis and Organic synthesis which can be summarised as mass spectrometry and infra-red spectroscopy. Bonding and the periodic table obviously feature.
