Geography

UPDATED 20161121 11:47:32

Geography is one of the most important and relevant subjects in the national curriculum in the 21st century. Diverse and changing landscapes, a real sense of place and anything of newsworthy relevance such as the migration issue are just some of the amazing topics that the A Level syllabus attempts to cover. Geography goes a long way to helping you become a global citizen and recognising the importance of being one. Within the course you will develop a variety of skills essential for university and beyond. You will be taught to think like a 'geographer', never burying your head in the sand but rather looking at data, comparative graphs and statistical maps - interpreting them and then doing something with them. We will equip you with the skills for both a healthy career and a joy of lifelong learning.
