This course will help you develop a wide range of transferable creative skills associated with different Art and Design disciplines. During the course you will be introduced to materials, techniques and processes related to a range of 2D and 3D disciplines which could include Painting, Printmaking, Ceramics, Photography and Graphic Design. In addition to this you will expand your contextual understanding of Art and Design and develop your research skills. The qualification has been designed as a one year full time qualification with the opportunity of Progression to the second year Extended Diploma Art and Design.
