The Access Diploma in Social Work course is for adults who have limited academic qualifications, but who would like to proceed to a degree course or on to professional training. The course is studied full-time over one academic year and includes subjects necessary for successful completion of the Diploma and entry to higher level study in Social Work, Youth Justice and Social Policy. The modules of study include; Law in Social Work, Judicial Systems, Contract Law, Non-Fatal Offences against a Person, Independent Study Skills.
