What will I study? This is a general engineering course which will allow you to follow many pathways into the industry. This course could also help you if you have not decided which engineering pathway to follow. You will study: - Technical communications - Mathematics - Electrical and electronic principles and projects - Independent projects - Mechanics - Design and materials On this course you will: - Develop your research skills - Advance your technical knowledge - Design and create your own solutions to everyday engineering problems - Develop your mathematical skills - Complete a project on a related topic of your choice You will be assessed internally by assignments, projects and coursework. You will also carry out in-class assignments to test specific skills and knowledge and your practical work will be observed. With extensive experience in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, Westminster Kingsway College regularly hosts the Big Bang Science and Engineering Fair for London and has a very successful team of experienced engineering teachers who have helped many students follow their engineering aspirations. On successful completion of the course, you could progress to university to study engineering in a variety of pathways or seek employment as a technician, trainee manager or junior engineer.
