International Hospitality Diploma

This fast-track course will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of Hospitality and the classical skills required to work in the top professional restaurants of the world. In order to benefit from the very best teaching of Hospitality in the UK, each class size is limited to maximise the training for each student. Academic assessment deadlines will be set throughout the 25 week's classroom based phase of the course to provide evidence of understanding and application. Additional academic content and guidance will also be available on the College's Virtual Learning Environment. During the 4 week work placement phase each student will have an opportunity to put skills and knowledge into practice, working with a reputable London employer. You will study specialist techniques and theories that are essential in today's modern work place over a five day week, one day being a study day. They enable you to explore and understand the relevant theory behind the experiences you will gain in your period of Professional Experience Placement towards the end of the course. Your study days, led by the academic team, will encompass a variety of different formats, from traditional delivery, seminars and workshops to individual and group presentations, as well as professional activities. There are academic led workshops on research methods, presentation skills, referencing, CV writing and behavioural interview techniques.
