Move on with Computers - ECDL Extra

The European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) is the global standard in end-user computer skills certifications. ECDL Extra is a Level 2 qualification aimed at advanced computer users. Once you have passed ECDL Extra, employers will know you have the skills to carry out the main tasks on a computer. This course is for you if you are aged 19+, are confident with ICT skills, and perhaps have completed a Level 1 qualification and wish to progress, or want to improve your opportunities of work. You will further develop your skills in Word Processing, Spreadsheet software, Presentation software, and Improving productivity using IT. You may be entitled to a free course, please contact the centre for further information or to book on this course.

Name: Move on with Computers - ECDL Extra Qualification title: Certificate in IT User Skills (ECDL Extra) (ITQ) (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment Learners will be expected to complete study at home and will need access to mobile technology and wifi or internet access. Learners without this facility will be able to attend centres on days outside of their timetable to study. The coursework is modular and you will build on your skills and confidence week by week. Your tutor will give you regular feedback on your progress and what you need to do to improve on weaker areas. The course has 4 examinations. Your tutor will inform you of the planned location, date and time within the first term. This examination is a compulsory requirement of the course and may be scheduled at another centre. Examination fees are costed into the total course fees. Learners are entitled to one resit free of charge; if required.
