This course is for anyone aged 19+ wanting to gain an understanding of what promotes and supports good physical and mental health well-being. It covers the factors that influence health and well-being, and an understanding of what supports good well-being. It also includes an awareness of the common health issues that affect well-being such as mental health, stress, alcohol awareness, eating disorders, and healthy lifestyles, and provides sources of relevant help and information. It would particularly benefit people wanting to improve their own lifestyles and those considering a career in the care sector.
