The Functional Skills English qualification is designed to give students the literacy skills to operate confidently, effectively and independently in education, work and everyday life. The course develops skills in comprehension, grammar, spelling, punctuation, writing for different purposes, discussions and presentations. Students will also build their confidence to be able to write accurately, present and discuss knowledgeably and fluently, enabling them to achieve the highest grades in their chosen subjects.
