The PA4G - Pesticide Granular Applicator course is suitable for candidates who hold their City and Guilds NPTC PA1 qualification and wish to use a PA4G Pesticide Granular type applicator . Candidates will be required to read a pesticide label and use a calculator during their PA4G assessment. This course aims to: Enable candidates to understand their duties under current legislation; prepare candidates to become safe and competent operatives and; to thoroughly prepare candidates so they are equipped to pass their City and Guilds NPTC PA4G Assessment. This coure will cover: * Legislation * Preparation and maintenance of the equipment * Calibration * Site work- application of pesticide granules * Cleaning and decontamination * Post Operative Maintenance * Identifying faults * Record Keeping The course is assessed through a Certificate of Competence assessment by NPTC assessor after the course. Can be carried out at the college or at the place of work and is booked directly with NPTC.
