This is the course that naturally follows on from GCSE and it relies heavily upon the A & A* algebra content of the GCSE. Two of three modules are essentially graphs and algebra, and one module is statistics. The course includes a systematic study of graphs, extending our ideas of trigonometry, introduces logarithmic functions and the vital theory of calculus. All of these require good algebraic and problem solving skills, which are developed throughout each topic.
