Diploma in Music Production and Management

This one year course is based around a mixture of classroom delivery, practical workshops and work placement/experience and is designed to prepare you for further Level 3 or professional study of music. You will complete a one year Diploma which is equivalent to 2 AS-Levels.The course is primarily designed for adult students who have not studied A-Levels or a BTEC before or would like to change career direction and pursue a role within the music industry. During the course you will develop a solid grounding in:• Setting up a Music Business• Sound Reinforcement• Live Sound Engineering• Lighting a Music Event• Event Management• Music Studio Production Techniques• EntrepreneurshipWe see our courses as your first step into the industry; you will be working with industry professionals as your tutors, alongside special guest lectures. You must have an aptitude and enthusiasm for technical work, and be prepared to study English and or maths, if required to support your progression.
