Our Skills for Working Life courses will help you foster independence and develop your social, health, moral and citizenship skills. You will take part in a range of activities and practice skills essential for adult life. The programme is for a wide range of students including those: in mainstream education working at entry level or who did not achieve GCSE grades with learning difficulties/disabilities with special educational needs with low confidence/self esteem You will develop skills in a range of areas such as: Health and safety Practical living IT Literacy Numeracy Preparation for working life Some of our Skills for Working Life courses focus on particular vocational areas such as health and social care, hospitality and catering, travel and tourism, hairdressing and beauty therapy, public services, sport and art and design.
