A-level Drama and Theatre Studies

Theatre Studies looks at the practices and theories of classical and contemporary playwrights, directors and practitioners of drama. The aim of the course is to expand and deepen students' knowledge and appreciation of theatre in its entirety, its history, its development and its position in contemporary society. It is a course which combines practical and theoretical elements but the theory is explored through practical work wherever possible.
