The BTEC Level 5 HNC provides greater breadth and specialisation than the BTEC Level 4 HNC Diploma, allowing progression into or within employment in the travel and tourism sector, either directly on achievement of the award or following further study to degree level. Knowledge and practical skills can be applied in the workplace. Full.time learners have the opportunity to do this through formal work placements or part.time employment experience. The qualification offers a wide range of sector knowledge tied to practical skills gained in research, self.study, directed study and workplace scenarios.
