You will develop the technical and performance based skills necessary to pursue a career within the dance industry, as a performer, teacher and more. You will learn how to prepare and condition your body for the rigors of full-time dance training, gaining knowledge of the industry and practitioners. Students will also work to develop their own portfolio in audition preparation to support them in auditioning for private dance/stage schools and universities. Specialist techniques studied include: ballet, jazz, commercial, contemporary, street dance and tap. Other skills studied include: healthy performer (fitness/yoga/pilates/nutrition) singing, choreography, rehearsing and performance skills.
