Psychology is defined as the 'scientific study of behaviour'. Psychologists aim to describe, explain, predict and even control behaviour. Psychology is real, it is not about common sense or myths and therefore everything that is covered during A level psychology can be applied to real life. It is a great subject to have knowledge of , whatever career path you take. Some famous studies that you will cover are Pavlov's dogs, Milgram's study of obedience and the Stanford prison experiment, to name but a few.
