Our Edexcel A level in Health and Social Care is designed to give learners a broad introduction to the health and social care sector. Students will gain knowledge and understanding of the work of health and social care, and early years (care and education). You will acquire transferable skills to be used in further education or training; research and reference, problem solving, analysis and evaluation. This is a vocational course and therefore has a work related context and you will take part in visits to health and social care providers. It offers a route into; Nursing, Teaching, Physiotherapy, Social Work, Nursery, residential care work. etc.
