This is a beginners course, introducing learners to the issues of caring for the elderly, young children and those with mobility and learning disabilities. Contents include: Investigating rights and responsibilities at work Managing your health at work Health and social care needs Promoting healthy eating Job opportunities in health and social care. Nationally recognised Functional Skills qualifications. Visiting speakers include dental health nurses, registered general nurses, childrens nurses and social workers.
