The course is designed to give students an insight into the motorsport industry and the preparation and maintenance of competition vehicles. The skills set that students will gain should equip them to be able to carry out standard procedures during competition car building and to understand the inner workings of running a car on competition events. As well as the motorsport elements of the course a basic knowledge of vehicle systems and principles will also be learnt alongside. This will comprise theory and practical tasks that will provide essential skills and knowledge for working on any vehicle.
